Ring of Beara Cycle Kenmare 2020 registration opens for general public on Wednesday 25th September (pre-sale for past participants Tuesday 24th)
Entries for the ever-popular event will go on general sale next Wednesday 25th September at 10am. A pre-sale will take place from Tuesday 24th September at 9.30am giving past participants priority access to the event. All past participants will receive an email with a link to allow them to register early.
Last year’s event sold out within 24hrs, testament to the event’s status as one of the most popular cycles in the country.
The 2020 Ring of Beara Cycle Kenmare will take place on Saturday 23rd May 2020. Participants will cycle Ireland’s spectacular peninsula and embrace the unspoiled beauty of the Wild Atlantic Way.
There is a route to suit all levels of fitness from the seasoned cyclist to the casual peddler. Choose from the 140km route or the shorter 110km route. Cyclists will experience the magnificent scenery of the mountains, valleys and the rugged coastline of the Beara.
Participants will pass some of Ireland’s most picturesque and quaint towns including Ardgroom, Eyeries, Allihies, Castletownbere, Adrigole, Glengarriff and back to Kenmare town. Cyclists can revel in the unspoilt beauty of the Wild Atlantic Way.
The cost of this year’s event is €65 plus €4 booking fee. The entry price covers all event costs, with all proceeds beyond this being donated to charity.
